I have always loved hair; loved styling hair, loved researching ways of making hair more healthy, etc... I am not a licensed beautician, but all of my friends and sisters from church refer to me as the "Kitchen Beautician," because I am the back-up if they can't get a hair appointment or are a little low on money ;-) Many of the principles that you point out are things that I have believed for years, but you confirm and validate my thoughts as well as enlighten me in areas
that I had never thought about before.
