I could expect my hair to grow on the right in 1989.
I knew there had to be a common reason so many Black women have short hair. Keeping your hair and adding length should be common sense. Common sense has kept me growing 12 years later.
February 2005 - and my last retouch was May 2004 proving that we can give up chemical relaxers and keep our hair. With 5" of new growth and 9" relaxed ends, my hair was straightened with the blowdryer and flat iron.
The photos on my home page were taken in 2007. I have
now been relaxer free since May 2004. We don't need a
silly "Miracle." We need accurate knowledge,
common sense and good products.
